Utility accounts

Utility bills (water, sewer, waste) are issued monthly. Manage your account, sign up for e-billing and pay online through the financial self-service portal.

Water quality

High River's drinking water is tested to Alberta Environment standards. Annual water quality reports are available on request — phone 403-652-2110.

Seasonal water restrictions

From May 1 to September 30, lawn watering is allowed:

• Even-numbered addresses: even days of the month
• Odd-numbered addresses: odd days of the month
• Mornings before 10 a.m. or evenings after 6 p.m. only

During dry conditions, Council may impose further restrictions — announced via News and the emergency banner.

Hydrant flushing

Crews flush hydrants each fall. Brief pressure drops or slight discoloration are normal; run cold taps until clear. Schedule posted to News.
