Planning and Development administers the Land Use Bylaw, subdivision and development permits. Major projects — the Town Plan, active transportation and climate plans — are posted for public input as they proceed.
Business licences
A Town business licence is required to operate in High River. Home-based, commercial and mobile businesses each have a licence category; non-resident businesses need an annual licence too.
